Alliances settle in Geminate after Wildly Inappropriate. deploys to Pure Blind

ZYL-FT, Geminate - The WI. deployment away from Geminate has left the region up for grabs by several new entrants, among which are Red Alliance [RED], SOLAR FLEET [SOLAR] and Ad Astra. Some of the allies of Atlas Alliance [ATLAS] in the war effort over the past few months are now settling into their newly claimed territories and using its resources to strengthen their positions.

With a long history of involvements in this area, Ad Astra. collaborated with ATLAS during the war and was in charge of opening up a second front against Wildly Inappropriate. [WI.] in "West" Geminate. They have now settled in the ZYL-FT Constellation. Paulo fr of Ad Astra. reported "We didn't fleet with ATLAS/Cult of War/Gentlemen's Club. The goal was to put pressure on WI. in another [part] of Geminate." In that way, paulo explained, Ad Astra. could use the 250-ship fleets resulting from Atlas "Calls to Arms" to inflict as much damage as possible on Wildly Inappropriate's infrastructure, destroying or reinforcing their towers. "We... kept pressure on them, R.A.G.E and Majesta Empire by roaming... preventing their pilots from making money."

On the 26.01.112, the last three former WI. outposts in Geminate were taken over by Red Alliance and SOLAR FLEET, while Atlas has turned to the systems which had been occupied by Get Off My Lawn after WI.'s departure, particularly O-VWPB, which houses a valuable Technetium-yielding moon.

Red Alliance member Lux Nifertari explained that his alliance was blue to Atlas and SOLAR during the conflict. "ATLAS wanted fun [while] we and SOLAR wanted space." Lux added that with their main goal achieved, RED now plans on using its part of Geminate to "power up" the Alliance. "People may ask - why Geminate? The answer is simple: we were allied with the Northern Coalition and tried to help all we could, but they left us without any help versus ATLAS in Insmother."

In Insmother, Red Alliance undertook an aggressive campaign against some of the alliances affiliated with Atlas, until they were offered help by their former enemies. "They made the offer to help us handle some space. We connected with SOLAR and decided to attack Geminate. [People thought that] RED was dead [so we] attacked Geminate [to show that] RED is alive."

According to Lux, RED plans on staying in Geminate for as long as possible and are currently focused on keeping blue standings in the region to allow the farming of resources.

Paulo fr of Ad Astra. confirmed that their main goal had been the removal of Wildly Inappropriate. from Geminate, but that his alliance would maintain blue standings with RED and SOLAR while they "make Geminate safer for all of us." He further stated "[We plan] to reset standings soon and become nice neighbours."

The future doesn't look entirely rosy to paulo fr, however. "R.A.G.E and Majesta Empire should be back soon... the NC blob will be back [once] they are finished in Pure Blind. Pandemic Legion has also moved in to the V-MZW0 system. We prefer to save money for further campaigns and want to be there for the final fight for Geminate."

GoonSwarm Corporate Expulsions Lead To Supercarrier Death

31-MLU, Syndicate - Near 06:00 this morning, over 100 corporations were expelled from the GoonSwarm [OHGOD] alliance. Issachiar, pilot of a Hel-class supercarrier for GoonFleet, was caught by the dissolution of his alliance while within the shields of a starbase belonging to Battlestars corporation. The Hel was expelled from the shields where waiting forces from Cry Havoc [C H] fell upon the vessel.

When corporations began dropping out of GoonSwarm, Cry Havoc began receiving automated surrender messages. Mduncan0341 of C H described how those messages became a supercapital kill for him and his wingmates.

"We were on a roam, when we noticed Goonswarm alliance disbanding - our mailboxes were being flooded with surrender notices, since we have an active wardec against them. We ran back to Orvolle to ship into [remote repair battleships] since we knew they had a supercap staging [tower] in 31-MLU and we knew caps would bounce as they [arrived]."

While GoonFleet members VCtab and Apples Appleby claimed the Hel's death was a desperate, deliberate and suicidal act from a pilot devasted by the loss of his alliance, eyewitnesses in Cry Havoc stated that the supercarrier was repelled by the Battlestars' tower's shield and recoiled a substantial distance, at least in terms of supercapital speeds - an accidental casualty of GoonSwarm's shattering.

According to mducnan0341 and his wingmate, spiked amarr, while the Hel at first managed to evade the C H fleet as they jumpbridged in, the ship was uncloaked at a nearby moon by a scouting Dramiel. It was tackled and the Cry Havoc raiding fleet quickly called in their standby capitals, including a pair of titans and a supercarrier of their own.

The C H pilots described how the former GoonSwarm corporations sent multiple waves of ships in an attempt to break the Hel out from the interdiction the C H fleet had put upon it, using Interdictor warp disruption "bubbles" and the infinite strength warp scrambling of Heavy Interdictors. The combined fleet from Cry Havoc and incoming allies Ev0ke, however, was able to destroy the Hel in approximately 6 minutes and turn their attention to evacuating their own supercapitals before a heavy fleet from GoonSwarm's so-called "CapSwarm" could respond. In the end, C H were able to depart the field with very light losses.

The expulsion of GoonSwarm's corporations has caused the collapse of the alliance's remaining sovereignty in Delve and Querious. (Other systems were lost on 26.01.112 when GoonFleet corporation was unable to make necessary upkeep payments.)

Multiple sources within the former GoonSwarm corporations have claimed that the corporations were expelled by karttoon, the former alliance leader and CEO of GoonFleet. Karttoon was allegedly one of three people who could have transferred funds to the correct division of the right corporate wallet to make the sovereignty payments, but he was absent at the time, as were the two other officers with wallet access.

Another source in GoonFleet speculated that mass demands for karttoon's resignation in the wake of the lapsed upkeep payments in Delve may have motivated his alleged actions.

In addition to expelling the GoonSwarm corporations from the alliance shell, karttoon is alleged to have emptied the corporate and alliance wallet divisions that he could access, taking sums reported varyingly as 300 - 500 billion ISK in liquid funds and a possible trillion ISK in assets.

Apples Appleton claimed karttoon then went on to detonate several ships from the alliance dreadnought cache in order to claim the insurance, but other sources have queried that descriptions of the destroyed ships showed that their names spelled out an insulting message to karttoon.

IT Alliance has been fighting GoonSwarm for control of Delve since earlier this year, though emnity runs deeper for some of IT's corporations who were previously in KenZoku and Band of Brothers alliances. Selest Cayal, CEO of IT's Nex Exercitus corporation, commented on the abrupt vanishment of GoonSwarm, at least in its present form.

"Well, the job of purging delve is going to be lighter. The circle is completed: they disbanded BoB and now they manage to get themselves disbanded.

"But we also lost a great enemy. I'm sure we will see the Goons again, in some form or another."

In the wake of GoonSwarm's dissolution into its constituent corporations, there is much speculation on what they will do next. A reported statement by Darius JOHNSON, former GoonSwarm leader and likely leadership candidate for any replacement, says:

"As many of you may have noticed we no longer have an alliance. The very gentleman who is CEO of fleet is the likely culprit so we'll be dropping Goonfleet as well. Goonfleet is dead. Goonswarm is dead. We will now bask in the glory of Goonwaffe."

BREAKING NEWS: GoonSwarm Disband

Hulm, Heimatar - In the early hours of this morning, 03.02.112, GoonSwarm alliance disbanded.

All but two corporations from the GoonSwarm alliance are currently flying under no alliance ticker. The Goony Hand Social Club banking corporation remains in the shell of the alliance after trouble accessing it in the absence of GoonFleet CEO Karttoon led to the loss of sovereignty over key GoonFleet systems in Delve.

Reasons for the move are not yet known; given the recent decision to abandon the alliance's conquered space in Delve and Querious and return to their roots in Syndicate, coupled with the recent return of former alliance leader Darius JOHNSON, a restructure of the alliance seems possible, but no statement has been made at this time.

More news on the dissolution of GoonSwarm will follow as it comes in.

Lapsed Upkeep Payments Remap Null-Sec Sovereignty

AJI-MA, Delve - Sovereignty claims upon almost 100 null-sec systems were dissolved between the 20 - 26.01.112 as the corporations GoonFleet, The xDeathx Squadron and a number of corporations in Wildly Inappropriate. alliance failed to pay the required upkeep charges for their territorial claim units and infrastructure upgrades.

In the early hours of 26.01.112, GoonSwarm corporation GoonFleet lost sovereignty over 30 systems across Delve, Querious and Period Basis after automatic payment of the upkeep bills failed due to depleted funds in the main wallet division of the corporation.

Enemies of GoonSwarm in IT Alliance [-IT-] and Against ALL Authorities [.-A-.] were quick to respond to the changes, pushing into the fallen systems. Against ALL Authorities took 3 systems in Querious while IT seized sovereignty over 8 systems in Delve, including the outpost in NOL-M9. (This outpost was hotly fought over in two previous wars in Delve, between GoonSwarm and Band of Brothers/KenZoku, whose corporations now are part of IT Alliance.) Relative new-comers and IT allies Black Star Alliance also sent forces from their new territories in Fountain, capturing 8 systems and the outpost in 8WA-Z6.

In a recent "State of the Goonion" address, The Mittani of GoonSwarm explained how the wallet crisis arose. "The directorate's ISK-related function is inaccessible due to the structure of our wallet corporation, which strongly interferes with our ability to reimburse lost capitals, pay sov. bills and fuel towers; essentially everything that you would expect a functioning alliance to do." The GoonSwarm finiancial structure was revamped following former leader Remedial's theft of the GoonSwarm Titan Fund; the restructuring placed alliance funds under the control of the "Goonie Hand Social Club" corporation. According to The Mittani's broadcast, those individuals with access to the main wallet were unavailable at the time of the shortfall.

Sovereignty warfare in Delve and Querious has been relatively quiet for the last few days as the war's focus has shifted to high-end moon mining installations.

Xeliya of Destructive Influence (an IT Alliance corporation) stated "We have been taking highend non-stop, something like 10 highends in last day or so. We also reinforced most Goon [jump-]bridges and all of the main ones so all the people who came back the other night for break-outs are now stranded, as Goon titans for the most part have moved out."

GoonSwarm still holds considerable territory in Delve and Querious, but the "State of the Goonion" address claims these systems hold no strategic value and that irreplacable strategic locations were lost with the capital staging outpost in J-LPX7 and the main market and rally point in NOL-M9.

In the wake of these events, the broadcast went on to claim that GoonSwarm would be withdrawing to Delve and returning to their old home in Syndicate - the region where, once upon a time, a small band of young Goons were camped into a station by an alliance called "Band of Brothers" and a hatred born that has shaped large portions of null-sec ever since.

Wildly Inappropriate. [WI.] were also already involved in a fight for their territory when the bill paying error occurred. SOLAR FLEET and Red Alliance have now whittled down WI. to a single outpost in LS-JEP in Vale of the Silent.

The third large alliance to lose systems after their upkeep payments bounced, Legion of xXDeathXx, were far more fortunate and able to move quickly to recapture many of the systems they lost.

While rumours of director-level spies, infiltrators or CONCORD database errors abounded following the radical changes to the sovereignty map, none of these held up under close scrutiny and CONCORD spokesman Ray Burnwade has confirmed that this is simply a case of financial miscalculation as alliances adjust to the new upkeep system.

Burnwade gave this official statement: "The null-sec based alliance GoonSwarm lost CONCORD acknowledgement of its sovereign claim over 30 starsystems, 15 of them containing outposts in the early hours of January 26th due to a failure to pay maintenance fees for the systems. Similar issues have been experienced by the Wildly Inappropriate and Legion of xXDEATHXx alliances.“

Ezzara Captured By Tribal Liberation Force

Ezzara, Devoid - The Tribal Liberation Force captured the Ezzara system from Amarr hands at 22:22 on the 22.01.112. The final siege of the 24th Imperial Crusade's bunker in system met with little resistance.

In the last month, both Amarr and Minmatar militias have been fighting fiercely across the Devoid region, but when Minmatar forces recently staged an attack on the Ezzara system they allegedly met very little resistance.

Ezzara is adjoined to the Arzad system, home to Starkman Prime, the former homeworld of the recently-rediscovered Starkmanir tribe of Minmatar, now home to those outcast from the Republic for their ominous destiny marks. The planet was bombarded by a fleet of Amarrian vessels, which has left the planet scarred and desolate. The Minmatar still hold the celestial body dear to their hearts as the last known location of the Starkmanir and by taking Ezzara they are one step closer to securing one of their most sacred of locations.

According to Eran Mintor of the Tribal Liberation Force-aligned Valklear Guard corporation, this is not a strategic victory, but rather a morale boost for his comrades. "I think the major victory was retaking Lantorn, which the Amarr held for over a year... Their resistance has increased at an alarming rate since the recapture of Ezzara," he said. “I do not see any stop in Valklear Guard's activities in the Amarrian territories at this time.”

Battlestar Crusader, of the Amarr Militia, also evaluated the present situation. “System control little effects my day to day operations and those of my corp and most of the militia... At the moment [morale] seems rather low, we do not have enough fleet commanders and a severe lack of interest from the general militia hinder fleet operations." Battlestar Crusader believes the future of amarr militia is based on building a new command structure. "The key corps have grouped together to draw up strategies to win on our own two feet rather than taking Caldari aid," he stated.

The 24th Imperial Crusade is still far from being critically weakened by the present turmoil. 1st Praetorian Guard of the 24th Imperial Crusade was one of the groups that actively attempted to force system control over Ezzara back to Amarr hands before the bunker could fall. Gangleri, one of their fleet commanders, commented “We fight them on a daily basis, always on the defence of our own military complexes and taking the offensive to hack their complexes.”

While the Minmatar were successful in taking the Ezzara system, Amarrians pledge to rebuild their strength and strike back. Both sides are still locked in combat and both aim for victory. Only time will tell who will prevail in this fight.

War-Torn Region's Not Red Don't Shoot Policy Spur To Development?

AY-YCU, Providence - Recent data suggests that Providence may be the most populous and industrially-developed region in null-sec, the so-called "outlaw space" beyond the control of CONCORD and the planetary governments. The strong alliance of so-called "Holders" who share sovereignty in the area and the "Not Red, Don't Shoot" policy originally set in place by Curatores Veritatis Alliance [CVA] appear to be the driving force behind this economic boom.

Providence for many is seen as an accessible, “open to all” region with the chance of earning plenty of allies, and ISK, but CVA have rules in place to for those who wish to operate there. These mandates can vary between the "Holder" alliances (sovereignty holders in the region, named after the Amarr Holder caste) but one thing they must all share is the “Not Red Don’t Shoot Policy” or NRDS as it is known.

No alliance in the Providence Holder Network is permitted to initiate an attack in designated areas unless they are officially labelled as enemies, either for hostile politics or action in the region, or for crimes such as piracy or theft. If that rule is broken, that alliance will be forcibly removed from the region. The maintenance of such a policy requires a highly active diplomatic team and the continuous passing of intel, compared to the more popular policy of NBSI.

Alliances who accept the Holder's Oath are offered improved access to CVA outposts in the region, and sometimes ceded sovereignty in an area and given permission to construct their own outposts and facilities. Current spaceholders in the region include CVA, Amarr loyalist alliance Aegis Militia, long-time CVA allies Sev3rance and Paxton Federation, Cold Steel Alliance, former Ushra'Khan allies Sylph who changed allegiance to CVA some years ago (Sylph suffered heavy blows in the last year and have a much-reduced presence in the region from their 109-110 heyday) and Libertas Fidelitas Alliance, who recently took a leading role in the Providence bloc's assaults into Catch.

Mikella Ki’Theki, spokesperson for CVA, explained one of the reasons why she feels capsuleers are attracted to Providence. “Providence is all about working as a team. When an [outpost] is being defended or a hostile one attacked, it’s often the case that we all participate.”

Ugleb, member of Ushra’Khan [UNITY] admitted that CVA have pushed the growth of Providence: “Their operation, Deliverance, has been a driving force in developing the region. When our two alliances first entered Providence it had no stations. The first was built by the CVA.”

Enemies of CVA and their support of slavery, Ushra'Khan formerly held sovereignty in Providence with two outposts, Unity Station in 9UY4-H and Karishal's Defiance in QR-K85. After years of conflict, the systems fell to CVA three years ago; Karishal's Defiance - named after leader of the Defiants, Karishal Muritor, whose body was housed there after his execution (some would say "assassination") by the Minmatar Republic - was renamed "Karishal's Folly" by the conquering forces. Unity station fell 3 months later, becoming "Deliverance Reclaimed."

Hostilities still continue between CVA and the Ushra'Khan to this day, with Providence representing a free-fire zone to its former UNITY residents. The decision to adopt an NBSI ("Not Blue, Shoot It") engagement policy in Providence and its neighbour, Catch, was taken by the otherwise NRDS UNITY alliance as a way of conducting economic warfare (some would say "terrorism") in a region where all sovereignty holders are tied through both economics and politics to the Amarr loyalist, pro-slavery CVA.

While the region certainly attracts conflict, it has experienced many years of relatively-stable governance. Mikella described the environment that stability has generated. “Hundreds of capsuleers pass through Providence every day. Ratting in anomalies, mining in hidden belts and trading at any one of the market hubs in the region. They generate a massive economic turnover; they make themselves wealthy and make others wealthy.”

It is not all about making money, as in Providence pilots will be thrown into the thick of fighting almost immediately. Currently, UNITY and allies Against ALL Authorities [.-A-.] are attacking Providence from Catch, while Star Fraction's Operation Black Lustrum strikes at Sev3rance's territories on the Assah and Dital entry-pipes. On a more day-to-day basis, Providence sees bored fleets from the Matari Tribal Liberation Force (and indeed some from the Amarr 24th Imperial Crusade) raid into the region in the hopes of provoking conflict, and sallies from other 0.0 power-blocs such Goonswarm or Triumvirate. are not infrequent. There is always the danger of a pilot becoming a target for someone trying to attract a larger force from the Holders.

CVA maintain that Providence is an “open to all” region, whereas UNITY argue that they are simply dictating code and rules of engagement to their neighbours. The fighting in the region looks set to continue as more pilots enter outlaw space in search of glory and ISK, while also choosing the pro-slavery laws of CVA or the direct opposition methods of UNITY and their allies.

At present, Providence is involved in its largest-scale conflict for years. In retribution for the expansion of "Operation Deliverance" (the CVA-backed operation to "reclaim" space for the Amarr Empire) into their home space in Catch, Against ALL Authorities and Ushra'Khan have launched a literally titanic offensive against the Paxton Federation-held system of D-GTMI, with fleets numbering well over 1,000 being typical. Just after midnight on the 29.01.112, following several days of brutal fighting and heavy loses for Providence, Paxton lost sovereignty over the system and the station was claimed by .-A-.

Virtuozzo, of Against ALL Authorities explained a little about the D-GTMI attack. “We got pushed, so we push back and go the extra mile.” The battle for D-GTMI will be examined in greater depth in a forthcoming article.

With more pilots than ever before expressing an interest in the local lifestyle, Providence could grow to match some regions of high security space in population and activity, but the effect of the recent wars upon its popularity remain to be seen.

Wildly Inappropriate Alliance Redeploys to Pure Blind

ROIR-Y, Pure Blind - Wildly Inappropriate Alliance has redeployed its forces from Geminate to Pure Blind. Fleets and assets are still being moved in a bid to assist the Northern Coalition in their efforts, sources inside the alliance confirmed.

The alliance has decided to vacate Geminate after a sustained attack from combined forces including ATLAS, Cult of War, Gentleman's Club, Red Alliance and Solar Fleet for control of the region. The defending forces were mostly comprised of Wildly Inappropriate, Razor, Majesta Empire and R.A.G.E.

According to Nikodiemus of Wildly Inappropriate, the decision came when the defending forces realized they were too greatly outnumbered: "[Wildly Inappropriate had] to make a choice: either stand ground with [Razor] and weaken the [Northern Coalition] in general... or re-deploy."

Nikodiemus also added that the move will reinforce the Northern Coalition's ranks: "[Wildly Inappropriate] has re-deployed and is going to start putting the hurt on the [Northern Coalition's] enemies... I am very much looking forward to what the future holds for us," he stated.

Bobby Atlas, explained the reasons behind the invasion: "[it] was close to our home, had abundance of people we could attack close-by and was logistically the most viable location for a mobile campaign," he said.

According to Bobby Atlas, fights were abundant at first but they dried up as the war progressed: "[Razor] took the position of only defending against [sovereignty] contests and high-end attacks, as such we were forced to engage in a [sovereignty] war... [that] stretched the lines of [the northern coalition]."

The sudden move out of Geminate has put Wildly Inappropriate's member corporations under stress. Vaporize, a member of a corporation who recently left the alliance, explains that some of the most productive corporations in Wildly Inappropriate are leaving: "GLD, Eye of God and Freee already left... [as] for us, we love [Wildly Inappropriate] but the current direction of the alliance does not take advantage of our corp's capabilites," he said.

Wildly Inappropriate's forces have already been spotted in ROIR-Y, a strategic system for the Northern Coalition. Tomcat, leader of the alliance, has expressed his confidence in a bright future: "People may think we've been beating down and taken out of the fight but they are wrong. We are here, we will fight and we will win."

Hulkageddon II Ends With Over 1,200 Exhumers Destroyed

Abudban, Heimatar - The Hulkageddon II event, in which pilots competed to destroy the most Exhumer-grade mining vessels over the course of a single week, came to a close on the 14.01.112 with a claimed 1,220 Exhumers destroyed. The top prize of 3 billion ISK was awarded to The United, with Final Agony and The Bastards claiming the 1 billion ISK award for second place and the 500 million ISK for third, respectively.

Hulkageddon II's organizer, Helicity Boson, has hailed the event as "a resounding success beyond my highest expectations!" Over 800 pilots are recorded as having participated, racking up almost 1800 registered kills, some 275 billion ISK-value in damage done and the loss of some estimated 100 - 250 thousand crewmen's lives.

Reactions to the event have been wildly varied amongst the capsuleer community.

AeCha Anais of Cold Fusion Alliance protested SCC authorization of insurance payouts to those attackers who lost their vessels to CONCORD in the course of illegal assaults such as those committed during Hulkageddon II.

"It is not surprising to me that capsuleers are willing to sacrifice [their crewmembers'] lives as regrettably many of my kind have become immune to the plight of their crews and the crews of the ships they attack. What is surprising to me is that SCC (secure commerce commission) is subsidizing this atrocity at almost 100% to all the attacking ships."

Imagonnawhupya is a pilot who joined the corporation Hulkageddon Orphanage especially the event - the corporation was sponsored by Helicity Boson to give lone pilots wanting to take part an easier way of finding fleets to work with. He explained his feelings about the event very simply.

"This has been a great event. I know I had fun if my victims did not."

Even among industrialists, however, there were those who enjoyed the event. Nysse Alpha of Forward Thinking Industries gave her views.

"As a miner... I thoroughly enjoyed Hulkageddon II. My Hulk was safely parked in spacedock for the duration, but I found the whole event to be quite entertaining, and checked the killboards every day to see the Exhumer loses of all the window-lickers who thought they were safe, or thought they could out-tank the gank squads.

"Look forward to the next one."

Though Hulkageddon II is now officially over and the prizes awarded, suicide attacks against miners continue to occur and many industrialists still vociferously protest that no action was taken to stop the event. The Interstellar Correspondents will look more at the feelings raised by Hulkageddon in a forthcoming article.

Icarus3 and other members grew concerned when funds generated from activities such as wormhole mining and security details found its way into the personal wallet of Eurzadahn rather than shared amongst those that contributed to the effort.

Relationships broke down within Tenichigo Kaigun, amidst rumours that further ISK and ships were disappearing from the corporation. Icarus3 left with other aggrieved capsuleers and formed DX4. Their plan for revenge was devised, taking four months of preparation before the final blow was struck.

Having discovered the wormhole in which Eurzadahn resided, a wormhole dubbed ‘Cake’ by capsuleers, Icarus3 entered the starbase owned by -KGN- using passwords he had acquired. Once inside, and with the help of his fellow capsuleers from DX4 he set about taking anything he could before Eurzadahn could act.

Among the items taken from Eurzadahn were a Thanatos, Absolution and Orca as well as whatever the Orca could carry. The total value of goods stolen from -KGN- to is estimated at approximately 2 billion ISK, with further damages being inflicted militarily. On a final note about Eurzadahn, Icarus3 had this to say: "I've never known a single [capsuleer] to accept so many loans and donations as Eurzadahn does. It's rather embarrassing to know I used to be under his command."

The Interstellar Correspondents have recently managed to contact Eurzadahn, who adamantly denies Icarus3's allegations. A follow-up article will be published shortly.

Northern Coalition Engaged On Second Front As Triumvirate Invade Pure Blind

ROIR-Y, Pure Blind - The Northern Coalition has relocated substantial forces to ROIR-Y system in Pure Blind to counter what appears to be a full-scale invasion by Triumvirate. [TRI] and their allies. Last week saw the death of a Northern Coalition titan and the fall of P-2TTL, a station system belonging to Northern Coalition alliance Mostly Harmless [-42-]. Northern Coalition have rallied, however and begun taking back valuable moon resources from the opposing forces.

Last week, on 08.01.112, an Avatar-class titan from Northern Coalition alliance Morsus Mihi was destroyed by a fleet from Triumvirate and their allies while they were reinforcing towers in the Northern Coalition's forward base system, ROIR-Y.

The fleet, led by Kai Page of Triumvirate, featured a large contingent of cloaking, cruise missile-fitted Ravens and planned to reinforce a few Northern Coalition control towers before moving on to a roaming operation.

SpaceSavage, director of Triumvirate corporation Tr0pa de elite, explained: "Two towers were put into reinforced and then we hit the third; a few of our allies were there too. About halfway through hitting the 3rd tower, our covops, flown by Trinity Angel reported a hostile Avatar cynoing in at another [tower], about 15 seconds later reporting another Avatar titan cynoing in. The order was given to align to the cyno, and dictors go at zero."

The Triumvirate fleet was joined on the field by vessels from their ally, RED.Overlord, who also began to "bump" the primary target, the Avatar piloted by sNaKe353. The large, clumsy titan was continually rammed off its trajectory while it tried to get safely inside the shields of the nearby control tower.

SpaceSavage continued: "At points he was extremely close to the shield, and we had a total of 3 hostile titans aggressed on our fleet, killing our battleships: two Avatars, one Erebus.

"About half way through his armour, dreads cynoed in, from both sides. Our ally Initative bridged in too, approximately 60 or so. Slowly the titan was dying, eventually going into structure but not before taking out one of our dreads, Brother Assembly, who died a hero's death!" Battleship casualties were significant on both sides.

The second Northern Coalition Avatar managed to get inside the control tower's shields and NC forces engaged with the Triumvirate gang in multiple skirmishes between ROIR-Y and the Triumvirate "home" system of X-7OMU during the remainder of the night.

Conflict had also been taking place in and around the Mostly Harmless station system of P-2TTL. Since the start of the year, forces from Triumvirate and their allies had challenged the sovereignty of the system. Multiple large battles were fought with the loss, SpaceSavage claims, of thousands of ships across the two sides. This led Mynas Atoch (Mostly Harmless FC and alliance leadership-figure) to issue a public declaration of defiance to the hostile forces.

On 10.01.112, however, combined forces from Triumvirate's coalition (known as "TriCo" after members Triumvirate and Circle of Two), gathered for the final conflict, a do-or-die moment for the system... which passed quietly, the system trickling into new hands without engagement.

Imperian, FC and military organizer for the Northern Coalition during this campaign, explained the campaign objectives for his organization:

"The problem is, I guess, that both sides have a different understanding of 'winning.' Their goal was to take over the P-2TTL station system. Our goal is to get our high-end and technetium moons back in Pure Blind and Venal.

"We were successful at reclaiming our Venal moons already and go for the Pure Blind moons now. We killed 4 of theirs today without big resistance and replaced them with our own ones."

Imperian confirmed that at present, the Northern Coalition is focusing on the TriCo invasion as the main threat, working as a unit rather than individual alliances and focusing on the Pure Blind front. By reclaiming valuable moons, NC ensure their warchest for a sustained conflict. TriCo, meanwhile, have little regard for strategic assets and a hunger for battle. The coalition plans to keep pressure on the NC and "kill as much as possible, pick apart the NC one bit at a time and disband their coalition." The two mindsets, though radically different, both point to one thing: a sustained and hard-fought war.

BREAKING NEWS: Battle Raging in GoonSwarm Claimed 49-U6U System

49-U6U, Querious - Over 547 ships have been lost in the last 24 hours and 216 of those in the last hour alone as GoonSwarm repels a Systematic-Chaos and Against ALL Authorities invasion of this GoonSwarm held system. SBUs have been deployed and battles are raging around them.

Hratli Smirks of GoonSwarm explains what he believes to be the reason for the attack in 49-U6U: "Are you aware of Liam Fremen? He runs Sys-K. He has a huge [expletive deleted] for us literally...and he decided to invade us. Mostly to help out Molle, on account of he has this [affection for] Molle (he runs IT alliance)... Also, 49-U is the border to AAA space and that's basically as much effort as you can expect from AAA [and] allies"

Although Goons appear to be holding onto the system, Hratli reports that "AAA renter" Ushra'Khan has killed 78 GoonSwarm carriers. What impact those losses will have on the ongoing defense of the system remains to be seen.

A representative from Systematic-Chaos was contacted but leadership declined to comment while the operation was still ongoing.

Details will be reported as more information becomes available.
