Add a new (small, unintrusive) bar to the bottom of the client window - it can basically be a bit like the windows taskbar where your chat/market/bio/whatever windows sit - but importantly there should be a search box like the one from people and places that allows you to do all those searches (systems, corps, people etc aswell as market search options). It would save plenty of time and cut out the lag that is often associated with having the market or p&p open. If there's already suggestion for such a thing I appologise, but it should be restated

I play in windowed mode and my screen res for both the game and my computer is 1024x768 and I'm always losing my chat bars when I minimize them because the EVE client doesn't always overpower my windows task bar. So, I have to go in an hide it manually. I think the EVE Taskbar should have an option to be at the top or bottom though. I would rather mine at the top but not intfere with anything on the screen.

Saves on screen realestate and provides a good solution to finding information in Eve while minimizing the number of Windows you need to open.

Next. I never said under the client window, and I never said outside the client window. I said at the bottom - which obviously would show in both windowed and full screen mode. And I reply to your "Do you KNOW" statement with "Can you READ?"

Just an idea Re-read my post, your reply does not make sense? It's for Eve-windows such as market, ships hanger, chat windows etc to sit in, which also has a search box next in it. What has alt-tab got to do with anything? Next time I have an idea, someone remind me to use pictures

Great Idea, additional it would be cool if it were possible to move imporant things like single bookmarks to that bar to initiate a fast fly to often visited locations, for example.
