It's been quite some time since we've had a large tournament -- a year in fact since we held our Billion ISK Buy-In Eve Series of Poker tournament. To celebrate 1.5 years of EOH under my ownership, we're looking to host yet another large buy-in tournament for those players out there looking for the big ISK. And this time, much like the alliance tournament, there are some new rules. And also like the alliance tournament, ESOP III is a challenge to the corps and alliances of EVE to prove themselves against one another on the poker table.

★★★ Tournament Format ★★★

The format for this tournament is a multi-table no-limit Texas Hold'Em tournament. Payout varies depending on how many register, with the table viewable at http://www.eohpoker.com/info.htm. A minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 50 players will be accepted. This means the prize pool will be in the range of 20 to 100 Billion ISK. Special rules for this tournament are in place to both create a venue for alliances and corps to compete against one another, and to work against potential collaboration issues on such a high stakes match. All characters participating in this tournament much be at least 6 months old. Additionally, only two characters per alliance and one character per corporation may enter. Corporations may not be NPC corporations without prior approval for myself (basically, players who have been in player corps previously but are currently in NPC corporations would be considered). Entry is first come, first serve.

Game time is set at 01:00 EVE time on Saturday the 25th. Please note that this is US Friday evening.

Full refunds are available upon request until 24 hours before Start Time. 2.0 B is refunded upon request from then until 1 hour before start time. No refunds will be made after this point. Players not in channel and on the designated table at start time forfeit their spot and their buy-in. The minimum number of players in this tournament will be 10. If for some reason we cannot get at least 10 players for ESOP III, we will refund everyone in full and cancel.

In order to buy in to ESOP III, wire ISK to Selene D'Celeste with reason 'ESOP III' OR send an Evemail to Selene D'Celeste with your EOH Account Name in order to use ring chips for the buy in.

Following is some more basic info about the EOH client and how the table will be set up. All players should be in channel EOH POKER one hour before start time in order for us to get organized and start within 15 minutes of the start time.
