What?
I have developed a website based on the dutch StemWijzer, a website that allows you to compare different political parties. The website presents the user with a list of statements ("PvP should be optional", "Trade orders should have a 1000 ISK minimum increment", etc), and compares the answers the user gives to the answers given by CSM candidates. Using this comparison the website then calculates a match percentage, neatly identifying which candidate represents the user's views the best. It may sound confusing, just try it out here: http://match.eve-csm.com.

I maintain a full discussion topic on general issues here.

What do I need from the Science & Industry forum?
I need statements to fill my questionaire. These statements need to cover all dimensions of the game equally in order to give all candidates fair representation. Statements also should be carefully formed so they do not show bias. I'm posting similar requests in other forums.

The statements have 5 answer options that we cannot deviate from: strongly disagree, disagree, no opinion, agree, strongly agree.

A few examples of good questions:
* Mining in its current form is fine.
* Meta 0, T1 loot should be removed from NPCs.

A few examples of bad questions:
* In what space do you spend most of your time? (you cannot answer this with agree/disagee)
* Unnecessarily cumbersome game mechanics related to contracts, the market, and science/industry should be streamlined or eliminated. (A loaded question, nobody will disagree that 'Unnecessarily cumbersome' mechanics should be changed)

So please, if you have any statement suggestions, post them here!

Are you going to provide a list of participating candidates - possibly allowing them to link to their own sites? I ran through it quickly and answered the questions - got my result (Dierdra Vaal matches with 62%) - but didn't see any evidence of any other candidates having any participation.

It really needs a big "Beta Testing" banner on it to make it clear that it's not yet fully functional/populated.

However I do like the concept and believe it's a great option for candidates to get some exposure.

A few questions for you:

Small gang PvP is the heart and soul of Eve.
Low security space needs incentives to get people to live there.
A clear statement of petitionable exploits should be published for all to see and those violating it insta-banned.

Thank you. I have found these political sites interesting and useful in crowded races.

Obviously, nothing in the S&I is as common as the T1 loot drop question, although "almost all T1 items should be manufactured by players" is somewhat more general than "no T1M0 loot drops"
Some statements that I think might distinguish the candidates, although for some candidates more appropriate for some S&I questions might be"don't know, don't care"

0.0 Production should be one of the areas of competition for 0.0 Alliances.
Insurance payouts on T2 ships should be raised.
Insurance payouts from death-by-Concord should be lowered.
0.0 Manufacturing should be a viable career
Hi Sec manufacturing should be a viable career
Hi Sec minerals should be increased
Lo Sec minerals should be increased
Modifying orders should have minimum increments or #/day
It should be easier to pirate ships in hi-sec
It should be easier to kill POS in hi-sec
There should be more access to ME research slots in hi sec
Corruption (Las Vegas 2009) should be developed
CCP should spend some effort on "quality of life"/"ease of use" issues for non-combat user interface
EVE industrialists should be able to produce for DUST 514 players.

Regardless of whether there is room to include any of these, thank for the efforts and looking forward to the results. I can't see voting for any candidate who doesn't bother to participate.
