Auto patch and manual patch don't work for me. Every time there is a patch, I have to d/l the full version. What a pain in the ass.

Auto-patcher worked ok for me, I'm in. New jukebox is gorgeous :) One issue though - even the cross-fade is turned on, it doesn't work when I switch tracks manually (by double-clicking on another track).

Auto patch and manual patch don't work for me. keeps saying it turns off half way in never had this problem before though... cant wait to play... just did it again but i went to task manager set the patch soft to highest priority and didnt try doing anything else while patching and worked for me ... guess that means my pc sucks heh ... well it patched now when i go to bring up the game it crashes at the log in screen this is going to be a messed up day i see

CCP , you seriously ****ed up on wormhole graphics.

Not only it is ugly , now we cant see a wormhole activation.

Another issue . While scanning widgets get mixed with the surroundings and you cant see them = another thing broken that was just fine and you shouldnt touch it.

1) Allow maar for notifications.
2) When maar operation is complete, turn off the gollydarned blinky for that tab.
3) Lag opening evemail.

Myself and several others I checked with.. report that all saved personal fittings are gone except one! thats a buttload of work all gone down the drain... any chance of getting them restored? Is a petition in order?

graphics are still glitching heavily. lag for 10 to 15 seconds and then the ui looks like the morning after a frat party in a sorority house.

so, can the supercarriers be built in stations after these changes or are they still a sov required construction. if they are, it seriously hampers the ability of empire capital fleets ability to defend their towers from agressors that have 0.0 sov. and since you wouldn't be able to buy them on the market, there is no secure transaction to be made and they will stay in the shadows of 0.0, hardly to be used

Thank you CCP for removing Medium Shaders! Now my game looks Like a DX7 Game!

What about informing us before a major change like that? I just upgraded my Office PC, if I knew about this I would upgrade my home pc. Now I have to play a DX7 game for the next few months. Plus I do not see the reason removing the medium shaders… If it was more work for you to design all 3d models twice then just DONT leave the existing models designs on Shader 2.0 and when u add an item in the game just don’t design with shaders 2.0 Draw it for Shaders 3.0 and no Shaders. So players could set Shaders to medium and see some items in Shader 2.0 models and some with no Shaders. And if that is not technicly possible just inform us… You know people we are cutting down support for shader 2.0 models!

Since this is the feedback thread, here's some positive feedback:

Like the new jukebox. Seems to play fine on my custom playlists, but the game soundtrack still plays only one song before going silent. Not a big deal to me, though.

Patch installation was a piece of cake. I wasn't part of the initial rush because I was at the doctor this morning when the patch was released, but the auto-patcher worked like it was supposed to. Only took a few minutes to update and I was back online.

Overall, I've barely noticed any big differences at all as far as gameplay goes. This is a good thing. I can always resave lost fittings, and since that's the biggest downside to this patch that I've noticed, I'd say job well done, CCP
