With the new browser, comes a refresh to the IGB POS browser project that I've been tending to for the past few years. It now supports the new in-game links and sports a tighter look and feel.

http://eve.1019.net/pos

I'd love to hear any feedback in terms of improvements (will be updating this thread as I make them) or any incorrect data. As always, any in-game donations will never be turned away ;)

Previous threads: Oct 2009, 2005-2009

Happy POS'ing!

Have you considered an option to add several modules of the same type at once?
For example:

EW ECM - Ion Field Projection x6
EW ECM - Phase Inversion x6
EW ECM - Spatial Destabilization x6
EW ECM - White Noise Gen x6
Turret Battery - Autocannon, Medium x10
Turret Battery - Autocannon, Small x10

That's 6 times you would need to click "Add module" as opposed to 44 that it is now.

Other than that, i quite like the new design and will keep using it for my POS calculations Smile

Great tool, I do enjoy messing around with new settings. The one thing I noticed though is that your price for the equpment assembly array is reading at 500 mil rather than 50 mil. Threw me off when I tried to plan my own.

That's an excellent idea! I'll see about implementing that shortly.

I'll definitely look into that and adjust accordingly. Thanks!

You don't have the fittings requirements for the Hyasyoda Mobile Laboratory.

Hunh, faction lab. Didn't catch that when it was added. It has been now, thanks!

Love the tool, thank you very much for it.

Personally, I'd like to see a volume estimation for the POS, fittings (packaged) and fuel (which is already included in the tool, thanks.)

Cheers,
Do'Amok

An excellent idea, I'll include that in my upcoming little batch of small additions. Thanks!

I want to have your baby!

Well, maybe I'm not that impressed, (enough to have your baby) but it is some very nice work.

Would it be too much trouble to add a link to download a CSV table of the fuel requirements & the POS manifest?

eg: click a link to get a file like:
Originally by: Fuel in CSV
Coolant, 8
Mechanical Parts, 5
Oxygen, 25
Robotics, 1
Enriched Uranium, 4
Nitrogen Isotopes, 450
Heavy Water, 0
Liquid Ozone, 0

It would be nice to be able to copy/paste the fuel requirements into Numbers, but the current layout is a bit difficult to handle.

Thankyou for this wonderful little calculator!

0.52!
*Implemented "Deployment" statistics: Total deployment cargo volume and deployment/tear down time totals (anchor, online, unanchor)
*Implemented Module Anchoring Restriction Notes
*Minor UI adjustments
*Naming, id correcting for modules, adding missing modules

Let me know how the deployment calcs are working out, and if the anchoring restriction notes are too obtrusive, tried to keep them fairly subtle.

Interesting idea, I see the potential use for it. Though would you want something like just a raw dump of the fuel calc and then the manifest right after it? Or maybe splitting them into two different .csv exports?

Two different exports, one for the POS management spreadsheet, the other for POS procurement spreadsheet :)

I like the simplicity of this calculator, it's very nicely focussed.

The empire factions dropdown is broken? No matter what I select, it returns Amarr Large.

Hmm, no, not seeing that behavior. Tried both out of game and in-game browsers. Anyone else? What browser/OS/plug-ins are you using?

The only tower available is Angel Large... No matter which tower you choose, the Angel Large tower defaults as the selection.

Can you fix please. This is a super tool! Love it!

Ah, it does appear to be an Internet Explorer thing. Figures. I'll sort it out shortly.

EDIT: Fixed! Sorry about that.
