Investing in a BusinessAll IPO's should have a business plan. There should be discussion on how the business works. Are they selling ships, tradining minerals, etc? All IPO's should have a "doomsday" scenario and an exit strategy. What's the worst that could happen? If the worst happens...what then?
Mitigating Risk in InvestingIdeally, companies that offer IPO's should already be following the business plan they lay out if possible, showing the true feasability of their business model. Sometimes this isn't possible (because of the need for startup capital) but if it is possible...it should be done. Clear reporting is key.
