Cally / Dentara Rast has agreed to do an interview this sunday on EVE NEWS NETWORK.
You may have heard about the 790 billion isk scam on the forums or by friends in game. Now is the time for you to hear how he did it in his own words.
The show is on live Sundays 1200 noon pacific / 1900 GMT (eve game time).
If you would like to send in a question send it to info@eve-nn.com
We will also have a place on the EVE-NN.com forums where you can post a question. You can also post one right here, I will check it and grab up the good ones.
He has also agreed to allow callers to ask him questions directly on the studio phone line 1.866.587.6257 (1866LVROCKS) toll free US and Canada. This will happen near the end of the interview right before the submitted questions are asked.
So grab your popcorn click the listen link on EVE-NN.com, get into ingame channel EVENEWSNETWORK and get ready for a great interview.

The whole scam couldve been done by a 12 y/o and it had about as much class as,
well actually I can't compare him to anything with as much class as he doesn't have.

After seeing the video that was released by that *snip*, I'd tune in to hear him again...why?
I lied and stole some isk? -boooring.
Now if you'd get GHSC members to come on to relate the details of the "heist".......now that I'd tune in in a heartbeat.
Just because a scam was 'large' doesn't make it interesting.

Most of you are plain bitter *******s who got scammed and take it personally. The scam was genius. The biggest one yet in EVE. If you got more isk then he has then you can call yourself smarter, or more patient. He planned everything out well and now reaps the reward.

Wth are you talking about? Do you have any idea how many people probly heard about EIB? No matter HOW many people said "It's a scam that guy is stupid" some people WILL fall for it. THAT is why it worked and THAT is why the scam is not clever, nor smart, nor stylish. And that's why it don't deserve an interview :)(not just because his confession video made me lol) |

seeing as he's a fan of videos, and screenshots can be faked, i'd like to know if Mr Scammer would be happy to release a video with his wallet open showing the 790bn Figure, and mvoe the wallet around. HArder to fake, no?

even that can be faked.. but you have to be good to do it...
what is the only true way to be sure, is to have someone who is very trustworthy by the community, aka spiral perhaps or others of the kind, to be in a trade with dentara, and actually see the amount personally. |

It might be a bit hard to prove anything if the accounts are still locked for investigations.
Did the EiB run on its own power at any time?
My quick calculations -when the EiB was announced for the first time- did show that it can't fly without massive isk-input even under the most optimal conditions. |

Now he has the isk to do what he wants how long will he still play? I think he will get bored fairly quickly because he no longer has a challenge in Eve anything he loses will be easily replaceable. Personally I wish him well he had the lobes to pull it off and succeded. The people who got scammed did your folks not tell you when you were kids "a fool and his money are soon parted." Guess not  I will tune in for that. |
