This is an official announcement as well as a personal record.

FATAL Alliance will cease to exist this weekend and the corps within them have either moved on or disbanded. The fall of the alliance is in not so many words due to the following simple facts:

First and foremost there is the amount of players (around 17 alliances) razor managed to engage in goon style blob warfare and the fall of BKG. Big credit to them for a job well done.

Second, the lag of participation from a large number of members who rather wanted the glory of 0.0 , but without the commitment to carry it out. Why do I say this, simply because I have newer seen TS so full when everyone was trying to get there **** out.

As FATAL we did have fun, the 4 months in LV saw us grow to over 450 and regular fleet ops out of J4UD with 30+ Cruisers soon got noticed and many was waiting in CL- and HLW to come along for a little trip around Curse and Stain.

In YM- we build an outpost, then spend a month or two fighting for it against 5 alliances, but at least they paid for it.

In Fountain we relaxed and got a bit fatter, many thanks to Dice for the hospitality.

The call to come up North on MC's train was repeated a few times and finally accepted when M-pire moved in and we felt an urge to help old friends, so we did.

The fall of the north was far more to do with calling FATAL & M-pire “bob pets” than anything else, but that's just smart game play.

There is a few people who needs a special mention.

USS OMAHA, for without him I would newer have done it or even considered it.
Magic Bob, Garmine, Feerax, Akov, Nyteshade, 12xspeed & Sister Bliss for work and loyalty way above the call of duty.

I would also like to thank MC & Outbreak for fun, games and help, it was always appreciated.

So another little eve chapter closes, what remains is a Big Thank you to the Corps and Members who did pull there weight and followed FATAL on there journey. I am sorry that due to personally circumstances I could not be there for the last month or so. The real life friendships formed are still there and will continue in whatever form, this has been the biggest gift of all.

God speed.
Gunny

Sad to hear it play out like that, Fatal was one of the most organised and disciplined corp that I had the pleasure of flying with and I have no doubt that your high standards extended to the others in your alliance.

Best of luck with your future, wherever your corp or alliances members end up.

Good post Gunny, life in EVE goes on and things evolve. I think that between us we did a pretty fine job for quite some time. There will always be a nucleus of great people that play EVE and make things happen I count quite a few of the people in Fatal alliance throughout it's various corps as these kind of people.

It was a great ride, there will doubtlessly be others in the future :)

lol, we were angry when we found out, we wanted to carry on fighting for it and didn't know somebody was paying for it. We were told yous had given up and didn't find out till months after. I really enjoyed YM-, still got my fleet ship from there.

Just wanted to reply to say thanks for the good times Firestar Inc had in FATAL alliance.

It was some of the most fun time we had in game and the north in general was awesome, respect to all our ex-alliance mates, our alles up there and the enemies we had. It was an absolute blast.

Good luck in the future Gunny, ur a good honest guy which is a rare thing in eve these days. o7

Maybe Ever Flow will realize their grave mistake of leaving the FREGE and come back. Stupid democratic corps don't know what is good for themselves.
