 Please visit your user settings to re-enable images.Hello everyone! I opened a petition to find the best place to put this topic and I was told to post it here. Anywho! I have made a new website for EVE videos it's called EVE-Tube. You can visit by going here: http://www.eve-tube.comTo celebrate the grand opening of the new site, we have decided to give away 1 billion ISK in a free to enter video contest. To find out more about the contest just click on the big banner on the front of the page. If you don't want to enter in the contest that is fine too! You can upload any EVE related video you want for private or public viewing. Note: Because EVE has such a vast array of age groups including minors we have to physically approve each video to ensure the content is suitable for all audiences. It usually doesn't take long as we have a few people reviewing the videos. We hope you like this free service and good luck to all of those who enter the contest. Take Care. |

Damn, nice site. Unfortunately I don't have any 1337 video skillz, but I hope that it takes off. You should have people promote it at fanfest. P.S. An idea - create an option to automatically upload and convert any specified video from eve-files. That will help.  |

Many people enjoy watching the full 300mb quality of movies, some even hit the 500mb mark.
How about upping the upload limit to 400m and adding a DDL link for the original video? Then we're talking!! |

That wouldnt really work from a marketing standpoint, which he is intitled to have an interest due to the work he has put into setting it up. A downloadable video option would remove a great deal of hits from the site therefore lowering its advertising appeal. I advise you NOT to put a download option for this single reason alone! |

My idea was that people would watch the previews on eve-tube then download the full vid if they wanted, or continued to watch the lofi version on evetube. Because, basically, if there was a demand for low quality eve videos we would see them on the eve-video board, but there's not. |

Yes, cos youtube was a massive failure?  Very narrow minded opinion for a site just setup. The bottom line is that your giving him your opinion in the hopes that he will allow you to get what you want, I'm giving him my professional marketing advice. If the site is successful it is quite possible to make a small financial gain, which can only help to motivate his interest and help him work harder to improve the site. |

Don't know about that m8, tbh the reason most people watch things like youtube is they don't want to go thru any trouble with downloading videos. Stuff like video codecs, video players (of many names) and various file extensions can be daunting to the newb computer literate |
