Me, and my partner in crime Imperius Blackheart, have arranged an EVE meet to celebrate the glory of the Alliance tournament, to cheer on our friendly alliances and generally sink a few beers. The EVE meet will be in Omega Sektor, a state of the art gaming center right in the middle of town. Venue: Omega SektorDate: Sunday 9st March 2008 Start: 14:00 (Doors open earlier) End: 23:00 The club is in the center of Birmingham, with parking near by and its 5 mins walk from Birmingham New Street Station. Check out the Map The venue is not kidding when it calls itself "state of the art", The club quite literally a geeks paradise! State of the art PC's, Lots of Consoles with all the latest games, big screens, hawt barmaids, the list goes on! If you are one of the lucky souls competing in the tournament don't feel you have to miss out, you are welcome to use one of the clubs computers to fight your battles with. **EDIT - DJ Xman will be bringing his decks for a live dance music show after the tournament is over, so you can hit the dance floor and party till late too!** |

I live in Birmingham and a good friend of mine works there (Crono or Cee, malaysian) i might go up and see it there instead of watching on EVE TV but it will mean resisting CoD4 |

How the hell do you expect to get the train there on a Sunday (WDA 29 ref). I live in Bradford atm and it cannot be done :( because the return trip is not until Monday morning when I have lectures.
Only if I enjoyed the easy living of the world of work like urban lol. |

north? Birmingham is the Midlands for crying out loud! you have to get at least as far as York to be in the north. |

Anyway - check out National Express, they have more choices of busses
Tbh your not trying hard enough  But yes national express coaches is a much better option than trains on a Sunday if you have far to come imo, they run thoughout the night and the coach station isn't more than 10 mins walk away. If anyone does want to take a coach or train and are worried they can't find the venue i'll happily meet them at the coach station/railway station and walk them to Omega Sektor. Let me know in advance when you will be due in folks and i'll be holding a "Internets Spaceships" sign. |
