ed: I sound really terrible with this mic

ed2: I paused a lot when talking and these all got removed in editing. So a long pause became a slow pause and it doesn't flow well either.

I'd call it campaigning on issues and illustrating the kind of candidate I am and the kind of CSM rep I would be - this kind of public expression of vision and aspiration for the game allows eve voters to decide what kind of representatives they are going to trust with their vote.

But since you personally don't need to campaign since you have a block vote assigned to your name regardless of anything you might say I can understand why you find it a little difficult to understand the process of campaigning in and of itself.

I hardly think you are are in a strong position to lecture about "belligerent compulsions" or "courtesy" after that ridiculous display Bane. Still, I'll do my best to overlook your lack of manners and civilized behaviour in the interest of productive engagement for the CSM should we both be elected. For good or ill Goons are part of the game of Eve now and I guess we've got to make some allowances for different standards of personal interaction.

I'm afraid you may have misinterpreted my statement. As you can see and hear in my interview, my issue was not with your ideas specifically, but with your manner. In discussions on game balance and design, you tend to give the impression that you have no apparent desire to engage in polite discourse. Instead, when your ideas are challenged or even criticized by others, you use ad hominem attacks, you make false assertions, you backpedal, you try to change the subject, you try to redefine the problem to suit your argument (especially in the case of extremely ambiguous problems such as "blobbing"), and, overall, this becomes an intentional sign that you don't respect others who aren't willing to parrot your ideas obediently like you expect.

Since your scuffle on the CSM scrapheap thread (roughly) a month ago, you have become more humble in discussions, which I find very encouraging. However, I am confident that this change would not have occurred without people on scrapheap criticizing your impolite debate tactics. I'm very willing to talk about game balance and design, but if or when you act like a jerk in the discussions and disregard simple common courtesy, don't expect me or any other CSM representative to tolerate it for long.

As for your other questions, please ask them in my CSM thread. My two most difficult final exams are tomorrow, however, so my response may take a little over 24 hours.
