Edited by: Kazuo Ishiguro on 06/11/2009 12:54:29I supply mineral-rich T1 items, in extremely large quantities, with a fast turnaround, at competitive prices. For more information on compression in general, see the wiki page, located here: http://wiki.eveonline.com/wiki/Mineral_CompressionAs industrials can carry ammunition in their cargoholds when stored inside the ship maintenance array of a carrier/rorqual, it is possible to use them to haul several freighter loads' worth of minerals in one trip. This trick doesn't work with modules. For details of the various options available, please refer to this google doc: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=tZm1EBZLrsWJc7CXdV20x_AYou can use it to check the mineral content of each item, and calculate the contents of an order composed of a combination of items. I only sell in whole batches. I can offer advice on the cheapest overall option if required, taking into account your costs of hauling and disposing of excess minerals. See the 'custom orders' section below. Price scheme- 1 batch = 55 hrs build time, e.g. 1000 runs of XL ammo.
- 0-9 batches: 6% markup
- 10-19 batches: 5.5% markup
- 20+ batches: 5% markup
- Titan or similar: negotiable - contact me
Pricing notes:- Fusion XL is always sold at a 6% markup.
- Markups are calculated against what it costs me to buy the minerals for an order and get them to the build location.
- Minerals are typically purchased between Jita buy and sell prices.
Bring Your Own Minerals (BYOM) deals- If you supply your own minerals, a markup will only be charged on whatever I have to buy for you.
- A minimum fee of 8m per batch applies for all BYOM deals.
- I will not make any purchases towards a BYOM order until you've handed over your minerals.
- Collateral is available on request.
- 5% interest is charged on any collateral supplied. This is added to the final cost of the order.
Delivery:- Typical completion time: 3-5 days for anything up to 25bn isk.
- All trades are via private item exchange contract, in order to avoid incurring sales tax.
- Delivery at my build location, in high sec, near Jita, is free.
- I do not offer delivery to other locations but can arrange couriers on request.
- First come, first served. Queues are rare, but when they happen I will always give warning.
Statistics:Last update: 5-11-2009- Total minerals compressed: 62bn units
- Total customer hauling reduction: 583 million m^3
- Total sales: 463bn isk

Edited by: Kazuo Ishiguro on 03/04/2009 08:35:33SMA Capacity SpreadsheetI've created a spreadsheet that allows easy calculation of the maximum total volume of ammunition that can be carried inside the cargo holds of industrials and barges inside ship maintenance arrays. It's in excel 2003 format, and is designed to be used with the solver add-in. It returns the optimal combination of ships to use for any set of skills, choice of T1 or T2 for rigs and/or expanded cargohold modules. Here it is: http://dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/KzIg/SMAcapacity%5B1%5D.zipExample: suppose you set - Minmatar Industrial V
- Mining Barge V
- No other industrial skills
- Expanded Cargohold II
- T1 cargo rigs
You should use: - 2x Mammoths
- 2x Skiff
- 1x Mastodon
- Total volume: 1,000,000m^3
- Total capacity: 105,111m^3
Note: it is not possible to ships inside an SMA if they contain GSCs, and you can't put GSCs inside ships already in an SMA. The best case scenario, using 1x Mackinaw and 3x Iteron Mark V, with T2 rigs and expanded cargohold modules fitted, gives a carrier (or Rorqual) a capacity of 139,589m^3, which will hold Purgatory torps that reprocess to just over 290m units of minerals. |

Edited by: Kazuo Ishiguro on 05/11/2009 15:54:28Typical usageScenario 1: I have plenty of high-end minerals and want to move trit/pye. Solution: Doom and/or Purgatory torpedoes. Scenario 2: I have plenty of cheap pyerite where I live, but I still need lots of trit. Solution: Thor torpedoes Scenario 3: I want everything I need to build capital ships! Solution: Mostly MWDs, 800mm Artillery, or 425mm railguns, plus a batch or two of other stuff. This type of order typically gets the best compression. Scenario 4: I need more Mex... Solution: Fusion XL, or 1600mm plates Scenario 5: ...and money is no object, or I happen to have lots of spare megacyte. Solution: Infrared XL, with the option of a partial BYOM deal to reduce costs. Custom ordersIt can often be difficult to work out the cheapest option for compression and moving your minerals. Compression can save over 90% of your hauling costs, but unless you know exactly what to build, you can end up with billions of isk worth of unwanted minerals. These have to be sold on at your destination, usually at a loss, or else hauled back to empire space. For no extra charge, I can help you determine a decent overall compression option. This isn't always the one with the smallest volume, or the one that perfectly matches your mineral requirements. I can weigh up all relevant factors and give you a choice of 2 or 3 possible orders. In order to provide quotes, I require the following information: - The amounts of minerals you need, if known, or the ships you want to build
- The ME values for the ship and component BPOs
- Your refine % and any refine taxes that apply
- The type of JF you're using and the pilot's racial freighter skill level
Note: sometimes the cheapest overall option can involve hauling a large amount of loose minerals (i.e. not built into anything), especially mexallon. For custom orders, I can provide additional loose minerals, so that after refining, you have exactly what you need. I do not charge a markup on these - this just saves you having to make an extra stop to pick up your minerals. If you know anyone else in your corp or alliance who might be interested, it is often a good idea to contact them first and place joint orders, as long as the total is below about 30bn isk. I can produce 1 larger order much faster than 2 small ones. |

I've received my first order and I've set the build process in motion. I still have plenty of spare capacity - it accounts for at most 36 units a month, but that only takes me 6 days to build.

Put me down for 20 batches, which should be 1.7b right? Pickup in Jita or a surrounding system is fine, just contract it to me when its ready. |

You might want to check the next patch notes as I'm sure I read that there is a fix for the ammo/maintainance issue.
I might be wrong though. Check for your self. |

I've read the notes, and I'll quote the relevant section for you: Quote: A method existed whereby it was possible to store ships with non-ammunition cargo in a Ship Maintenance Array. This has been fixed and it will no longer be possible to store ships with non-ammunition items in its cargo.
I'm pretty sure that Citadel Torpedoes are still going to be considered a type of ammunition Come on people, buy more torps! |

Revised pricing tiers have been set out, and I've been able to double my production capacity. It should now be possible to have a 10-batch order ready within 48 hours, with slightly longer times for larger orders. |

Mineral prices have risen slightly, so I've had to adjust prices accordingly. People who didn't buy last week missed on savings of 2m per batch. |
