Ok I'm argueing with a guy about his rokh fitting and he actually used the title as arguement for his choice of using lasers to PVP with a 30km optimal. His main other arguement is lasers, long range beam lasers, have better accuracy, not tracking, then blasters. How does one even begin to argue with that!? |

See, thats 3 for the purty lasers and only 1 for the bland rails. He may lose some range but make up for it with a grid wide bling bling bonus |

It gets better. He's the CEO of a corp, lol. Now he challenged me to a fight against my hurricane in his Rokh. At least he switched to blasters this time. At the beginning of the fight i told him he really should fit Magnetic Field stabilizers. He insisted he wouldn't need them for this fight. He told me to structure although i prefered death but i just wanted it done with anyways.
Hurricane v Rokh to structure.
As the fight started he siccs 2 of his corp members on me. One in a Drake and one in a blackbird.
Hurricane V Rokh + Drake + Blackbird.
The rokh dropped like a rock, the drake didn't tank, the blackbird never jammed me, and I still had half my armor left at the end of the battle. After that I politely informed him that he might have made it if they had fit damage mods like the Magnetic Field Stabilizer.
P.S. Now he wants to duel again with a disco-Rokh. |

A Rokh's only bonus for hybrids is optimal range. If you can make it fit, and you're not going for a sniper thing, I don't see why lasers wouldn't be just about as good as hybrids. |

Those weren't lasers, they were phased plasma weapons, hence the reason they traveled slower than light. They are actually a lot more like Eve's hybrid blasters. edit: and no I didn't know that off the top of my head, I looked it up  |

After nearly one year flying Amarr exclusively I changed to Caldari. And one reason for this desision was that used-crystal-mess...used crystals everywhere, in my hangar...in every ships cargo..on da floor...in every gun...in every pocket...even in cargo containers...meh!
Lazors may be shiny but I really like that tidy stacks of ammo and missiles with a tiny number in the downright corner ^^ |
