The Causality will be hosting the first London EVE Meet of 2009! I'm sorry about the wait for another London meet, but our January schedules are erratic and we wanted to give plenty notice so people could advertise and sign up. Enjoying a social atmosphere and cheap alcohol, we will be hosting at a popular London locale: Goodman's Field on Mansell Street on Saturday 28th February. This has now been confirmed but we still need a strong idea of numbers: If we can get enough people they will give us the entire pub to ourselves. Otherwise there will be a small trickle of weekend traffic. So please, get advertising and reply to this thread if you can make it, or know anyone else who will be coming! NEW YEAR UPDATE: Okay, it's all confirmed. The manager has us booked in. Saturday 28th February 4pm-11pm JDWetherspoon : Goodman's Field Nearest Tube Stations Tower Hill (CLOSED) Aldgate (Metropolitan) Aldgate East (Hammersmith & City) Nearest Accomodation Turn up any time. I and my posse will be there from 4pm onwards. Please continue posting numbers here, as the more confirmed people we have, the more likely we'll have full run of the bar. ++++++++++ TRAFFIC ADVISORY ++++++++++ On 28/02 the District Line and Circle Line will both be closed. Tower Hill Station will also be closed. Aldgate will still be serviced by the Metropolitan Line. Aldgate East will still be serviced by the Hammersmith & Ciy Line.
