My gf has much higher standings than me and, as such, has access to Level 4 agents. I've read that if we form fleet and run missions together, we will share not only the bounties/loot/mission rewards, but also the LP and standings gains.

Assuming this is true: would I gain standings faster by helping her with L4 missions, or by running L3 missions on my own?

IMO if you're using a good BC to run L3's fast, you'll earn higher standings faster than splitting L4's with your gf. L4's are for earning ISK, not for fast standing increases.

Yes you share it all and imho it is a good way to help with standing increase if you have a long way to go. We do it a lot for our newbie pilots to give em a break from grinding lvl 1s.

Though don't loot her cans if she's not in your corp :P

speed running level 3s.

although joining her on a level 4 might be more fun/isk.

I find speed running level twos in a battle cruiser is faster to get to level four ready standings (6.5+ for good level 4 agents) than going through level threes. Unless you're speed running level threes in a marauder, otherwise it is slower.

You speed run Level 3s while in fleet with her. She runs level 4s. She splits standings with you. You gain standings faster, then both run level 4s together - picking only the best missions. Profit.

Fleet with her. Speed run level 3s, and do NOT share the reward. Stay within the same region.
Have her share the reward from the level 4s. You do not need to actually do anything in her missions as long as you're in the same region.

You will gain standings extremely quickly like this. If you can already do level 3s, then a good night's missioning will probably get you the standings you need.

Thanks for the great suggestions. That last one (run L3s while sharing her L4 rewards) sounds like the most effective -- assuming she's willing to share that freely ;-) I bought and fitted a Retribution last night and, based on its performance helping her on a L3, I think it'll make a good mission bltizing ship.

Level 4s, here we come...!

Possibly stating the obvious here.. Your standings with her agent will be going up quicker than your standings with her corp or faction. You will find yourself able to use her agent long before you can use any other 4s in teh same corp, so keep an eye on that.

But yeah, run some three's in the background too and you'll be sorted real quick.
