Just so we're on the same page, my interpretation is that the bill wasn't due yet and the alliance closed due to treachery rather than just negligence. In other words a spy closed it before the bill would have mattered. |

When CCP rolls this back and BOB is back on the alliance lists tomorrow with their sov generally untouched (though likely no stolen isk or assets returned), I wonder if the Goons will enjoy their lulz, laugh it off, and keep playing.
Or if we can expect a 12 yr old temper tantrum, T20-level threadnaught and generally spammage, ending in an emoragequit?
Funny joke, but silly way to 'win' anything, eh?

I personally experianced a BOB spy offlining a cyno jammer and Cynoing in a cap fleet in the north.
Its not like BOB doesnt resort to the same tactics. Your all just Pi***d that your the ones that got it this time around.
But then again were all aware of how many crap storms CCP has bailed you guys out of in the past and im sure it will happen again. |

It was a spy issue. Goons got a director level spy in BNC and the BoB holding corp, and disbanded the alliance.

I like how everyone is stating their opinions like it is fact (like this random above), when in truth they have no idea what happened. I will state as a fact; 1) it wasnt a bill/money issue. 2) it wasnt spy related. Mittani isnt dumb enough to put his hand up and say he is responsible. |

It boils down to whether it was a proper infiltration or a hack.
If the latter CCP will (correctly) fix BoB and kick the hacker.
If GS managed to get a spy in the right position BoB will have some reconstruction to do, while Goons party wild with winsauce.
