So you're the world's greatest EVE fan, and you've got a passion for writing fiction, huh? Well, here's your chance…

CCP North America is seeking writers to produce EVE Online mission content, including original, immersive setting-based storylines, flavorful agent and character conversation text, and new mission design ideas. As a freelancer, you would be paid a "per-word" rate and be responsible for an unfailing adherence to strict deadlines while managing multiple concurrent assignments. However, this position might open the door to long-term or permanent employment at CCP North America's offices in Atlanta, Georgia, for those who prove apt and interested. Please note that we welcome applicants with few, if any, published credits and little or no professional writing experience.

Submissions: All applicants are asked to provide :

an up-to-date résumé or curriculum vitae;

a sample of science fiction writing from 700 to 800 words in length, appropriate in theme and subject matter to the dark universe of EVE Online; and

a sample 3-mission story arc for the game, including character-agent dialogue, involving any one of the major factions of the EVE universe.
