Crius Release to be deployed on July 22nd during extended downtime

2014-07-21 - By CCP Falcon

We're happy to announce that the Crius Release for EVE Online will be deployed on July 22nd, 2014 in a four hour extended downtime.

Crius brings an enormous overhaul of the industrial landscape of EVE Online and with its deployment, EVE will see the most extensive changes to manufacturing, invention, research and reprocessing since its release over 11 years ago.

With changes to industry, new industrial functionality and endpoints in the API, in-space user interface improvements, more little things, the introduction of teams, an overhaul of reprocessing, more starbase changes, and a whole host of other improvements,Crius is set to reshape industrial gameplay in EVE, streamlining processes and giving more power to the most important part of EVE Online; our players.

For further information you can read CCP Seagull's Coming in Crius overview blog, or you can take a look at the Crius feature site. For a more granular look at the changes, see the full patch notes, which are available now.

Crius will be deployed on Tuesday July 22nd 2014, in an early daily downtime that will begin at 08:00 UTC and run for four hours, through until 12:00 noon UTC.

The patch size from Kronos 1.4 to Crius will be approximately 1.2 GB and as always, please remember to set a long skill in training for this extended downtime!
