Character Bazaar Rules Update - Skill Extraction

2016-03-11 - By CCP Falcon

Due to a number of issues that players have experienced with purchasing characters that have been advertised, paid for with ISK, then had skillpoints extracted before being transferred to their new owners, we have made changes to the Character Bazaar rules to clarify our position on skill extraction when a character is to be sold.

The Character Bazaar rules have been updated with the following rule. It can be found numbered as Rule #7:

You may not extract skillpoints from a character after it has been advertised for sale. Character sales threads must accurately represent the character's state. Extracting skill after a character has been advertised for sale will be considered character sales scamming, and reprimands will be issued as such.

Please be aware that character sales scamming is a bannable offence, and extraction of skillpoints after a character has been listed for sale will be punished as part of our policies on character sales scamming as of the date and time of this announcement.
