Important news for Supercarrier pilots

2011-11-17 - Von Svarthol

Hi there!

As detailed in (this devblog | //www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=2674), we're making some adjustments to your ship in EVE Online: Crucible, set for release on the 29th of November.

As part of this, we will be reducing the size of your drone bay, and reconfiguring it so that it can only hold Fighter and Fighter Bomber class drones. During the deployment downtime, if your drone bay becomes overfull as a result of this change, or if you have any other classes of drone in your drone bay, all drones in your drone bay will be moved to your hangar in the station containing your medical clone.

As such, we would suggest that you move any drones that aren't Fighters or Fighter Bombers out of your drone bay, and ensure that the remaining Fighter and Fighter Bomber drones don't exceed your new capacity, before the expansion is deployed, so that you're not left in space with no weapons at all!

New drone bay capacities will be: 25 Fighters and/or Fighter Bombers for the Aeon, Revenant and Wyvern; 30 Fighters and/or Fighter Bombers for the Nyx and Hel.

Other changes to your ship rolling out as part of Crucible include a reduction in base hitpoints of 10-20% depending on the ship, and an adjustment to Remote ECM Bursts so that they no longer affect ships that are immune to electronic warfare.

If you for one reason or another run into problems and need assistance after Crucible has been launched, please don't hesitate to contact Customer Support by filing a petition under the ‘Stuck Character' category and we will do our best to help you out.

Thank you
