Monthly Ban Report – September 2026

2026-10-21 - Von EVE Online Team

EULA-abiding Capsuleers,

The Monthly Ban Report for September 2026 is available below. Septembers ban numbers were impacted by the run up to and including GM Week. Check out the Enforcement Trends section for more information.

Report Changes

  • We removed the graph showing the ships flown by characters who received a temp ban for macro use (botting) due to the relatively low number of temp bans issued.

  • We added five graphs showing the contents of the Pakhshi 'Loot Pinata', part of GM Week, that were dropped into space when the structure was destroyed.

  • For next month's report, we are looking into updating the 'In-Game Bot Reporting Tool & Enforcement ' graph, perhaps to highlight those players who have consistently provided valuable reports. If you have not used the in-game bot reporting tool then we encourage you to do so.

Enforcement Trends

  • In the weeks preceding and during GM Week, we moved bots that were online to various null-sec systems where they were warmly welcomed by the systems' inhabitants. Thanks to Goonswarm Federation, SONS of BANE, Tactical Narcotics Team, The Initiative, Fraternity, Northern Coalition and Brave Collective for their assistance.

  • The movement and destruction of the aforementioned bots meant that they were in capsules when they were banned. This impacted the 'Top 10 Ship Types Piloted By Characters Permanently Banned for Macro Use' graph, which shows ship types currently piloted by characters when they were banned.
