Alliances and Warfare

We have been looking at various issues with corporation warfare and the lack of alliance system. At hands I have a very simple solution for players and corporations as it's done directly through the standings window.

Instead of having standings from -10 to + 10 with a decimal we are looking to change it to 5 steps:

Alliance (+10)

Forming Alliance:
1. Player A / Corporation A sets standing towards Player B / Corporation B to +10
2. Player B / Corporation B gets brackets coloured as a Friend (Light Blue)
3. Player B / Corporation B sees the Alliance offer as it’s public towards them
4. Player B / Corporation B sets standing towards Player A / Corporation A to +10
5. Player A / Corporation A gets coloured as a friend (Light Blue)
6.In 24 hours, true Alliance between A and B are formed and any other Corporations that were allied with A or B before this happened
7. Alliance members are free from security status drop from accidently splash damage or attack
8. Brackets get coloured as dark blue
9. A & B get each other wars, they are now allies and can deal with each other enemies as they like

Leaving Alliance:
1. Player B / Corporation B alters standing towards Player A / Corporation A
2. In 24 hours they are no longer in Alliance with Player A / Corporation A
3. In 24 hours they no longer have any wars that were caused by the Alliance

Friend (+5)

Marks Player / Corporation as Friend and brackets get coloured light blue

Neutral (0)
Nada

Hostile (-5)
Marks Player / Corporation as Hostile and brackets get coloured yellow

War (-10)

Starting War:
1. Player A / Corporation A sets standing towards Player C / Corporation C to -10
2. Player C / Corporation C gets brackets coloured as a Hostile (Yellow)
3. Player C / Corporation C sees the War offer as it’s public towards them
4. Player C / Corporation C sets standing towards Player A / Corporation A to -10
5. Player A / Corporation A gets coloured as a Hostile (Yellow)
6. In 24 hours, true War between A and C is set
7. Brackets get coloured as orange
8. A & C get wars with each other Alliance members, they are now enemies and have to deal with each other and their allies

Ending War:
1. Player C / Corporation C alters standing towards Player A / Corporation A
2. In 7 days they are no longer in official war with Player A / Corporation A
3. In 7 days they are no longer in official war with allies of Player A / Corporation A
4. If Player A / Corporation A alters his standing towards Player C / Corporation C as well, the 7 days get reduced to 24 hours

War/Alliance Notifications:

CEO's and Directors will get EVE Mail notifications about war declarations towards self, alliance declarations towards self, war declarations towards alliance members, alliance delcarations towards enemies etc. EVE Mails would be send when the alliance or war is formed or stopped, i.e. before it actually takes place to warn corporations of upcoming events.

Player Leaving/Kicked out of Corporation:

If a player would leave or get kicked out of a corporation he would keep any wars for 24 hours to avoid people using the feature to be safe from his enemies.

This system would be very simple, both in creation and in use. Please comment and notify on any possible glitches and solution.
