Unexpected Downtime at 19:12GMT, 13th September

At 18:31GMT the Tranquility server cluster started exhibiting unusual technical issues which required an emergency shutdown at 19:12GMT. Our operations staff are currently analysing the situation and will be bringing the server and forums back up as soon as possible. Our apologies for this inconvenience. We will update this news item with further information as it becomes available.

Update 19:38GMT: Tranquility is back online however we are limiting connections as we monitor server stability. Full service will be restored as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience in the meantime.

Update 20:08GMT: Tranquility is back online at full capacity and no throttling of connections. The EVE forums and API are still offline at the moment while we continue to monitor the situation.

Update 20:52GMT: Tranquility is online and fully accepting connections. As a precaution we are keeping the forums and API service offline until after downtime tomorrow, 14th September. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
