The problem has now been identified and squashed by our trusty server team and Tranquility is back online. The issue was found to be a lack of item IDs, as explained by Valar in this thread. This came as some surprise to the GMs, who had previously theorized that the problem was likely a conflict between doo-dads and thingummeys, resulting in a severe lack of whathaveyous. Learn something every day, eh?
Technological jargon aside, the GM team is now on mop up duty and we will try to resolve any problems players encountered because of this as fast as possible. Bear in mind, that as this was a very widespread issue, there are likely to be hundreds, if not thousands of petitions to sift through. We will answer everyone as soon as possible, but players can expect some delays.
Please note that filing multiple petitions will not in any way speed up the answer to your petition, as new petitions go to the back of the queue. On the contrary, it will slow down the process for everyone. We therefore ask that anyone having problems because of this only file one petition. Your help and your patience are much appreciated.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the disruption to your gaming experience.
