Manufacturing Dreadnoughts, Freighters, Outposts

It's time to build something huge; the blueprints for Freighters, Dreadnought & Outpost Platforms ain't the most expensive things in the world. But building them is a hassle and the total price to build them will be = a lot. This is what you will need to know before you buy one of the blueprints:

Capital Ships

  • Dreadnoughts and Freighters are manufactured using Capital components (Capital Armor Plates, Capital Siege Array, Capital Jump Drive and so on). Manufacturing a Capital ship alone can take up to two weeks.
  • The component blueprints are sold by NPC's and cost a huge sum if all types are bought. The components are made from normal minerals but manufacturing the components takes more time than normal to have enough for a Capital ship. They are also damn heavy; I recommend that you build them at the station you want to build your Dreadnought or Freighter at.

Outposts* Outpost Construction Platforms are manufactured using Outpost components, which are only sold on the NPC market and can not be manufactured. The components are also huge and transporting the required amount for an Outpost won't be a single ride in your pretty shuttle.

  • Outpost Construction Platforms get deployed into space like anchorable secure cans but can only be deployed by a Freighter because of the size of it once complete. After the Platform has been deployed it needs to be filled with set amount of minerals and commodities. The minerals can be mined through ore and refined in station closer to your Outpost location but the commodities will need hauling, and probably more than a single pretty shuttle ride.
  • Once the Platform has been filled with all the required items, it will get turned into a ready-to-use Outpost after server down time. Don't forget that you can not deploy an Outpost unless your corporation holds sovereignty of the solar system with a Starbase.
