Features & Changes

Events:

  • The Minmatar Liberation Day event has begun! This event celebrates the anniversary of when freedom was secured for billions during the Great Rebellion. The festivities across Republic space and Great Wildlands will run until downtime on July 20th.
  • The centerpiece of the Liberation Day celebrations this year takes the form of a friendly tribal tournament open to Capsuleers of all races – The Liberation Games. Pick one of the Seven Tribes to support and get involved in exciting new events happening all across Minmatar space.
    • Rewards include boosters, SKINs unique to your tribe, and a special tribal tattoo.
    • Most Liberation Games activities that you take part in will add points to your chosen tribe’s point pool. At the end of the event the tribe that received the most support from capsuleers will take ownership of a newly constructed station in Pator alongside a monument to their victory. This new station will then change ownership after each Liberation Games event to the winners of the most recent contest.
  • New Liberation Games historical reenactment combat sites are appearing within Minmatar Republic highsec and non-FW lowsec space, as well as within the Great Wildlands.
    • These sites use advanced drones to recreate two important battles of the Great Rebellion, the Escape from Auner of BYC19 and the Mahti Jailbreak of BYC18
    • Loot from these sites includes tokens that can be sold to Minmatar NPC stations for ISK, new and returning SKINs, limited time Minmatar combat boosters, Leopard BPCs, and limited time Cerebral Accelerators.
    • These combat sites only allow entry for empire T1 and Navy Faction Cruisers, T1 destroyers, T2 frigates, and empire T1 and Navy Faction frigates. These new combat sites are especially well suited to be completed in Minmatar cruisers and Assault Frigates.
  • New Liberation Games data sites are appearing Minmatar Republic highsec and non-FW lowsec space, as well as within the Great Wildlands.
  • A special lore tour challenges capsuleers to travel between key locations in the history of the Great Rebellion and the history of the Republic. Beware that some of these locations are within lowsec space, so only fly what you can afford to lose and keep your eyes open.
  • Daily Login Gifts are available to all capsuleers including skillpoints, skins, Minmatar Republic apparel, and a special 4 day Minmatar Liberation Day Expert System
  • A special warp velocity bonus will apply to all capsuleers travelling within the regions of Heimatar, Metropolis, Molden Heath, and Great Wildlands.
  • The Republic Fleet parades have returned and can be found within the Pator, Rens, Hek, Eram, Teonusude, Altrinur, and Hjoramold systems. Capsuleers can receive skill points for completing daily challenges to visit these parades and launch fireworks alongside the other revelers.
  • Republic Mining Expedition sites have returned and can be found within the Ani, Odengsolf, Almur, and 730-KH constellations for the duration of this event
  • To celebrate Liberation Day, new Fleet Ordnance Spike SKINs for the Vigil, Talwar, and Cyclone have been added to the Republic Fleet Ordnance loyalty point store
  • New Minmatar landmark sites can be found within the Pator, Hagilur, Odatrik, and Auga systems. The new landmark sites in Pator and Auga are partially under construction and will feature the addition of new monument statues later in the event.
  • A themed abyssal proving ground will be running from July 16th to 20th, featuring a 4-player Rifter free-for-all format with a special bonus that increases the effectiveness of overheating most modules.
  • Tune in to the CCP Twitch channel on Saturday July 10th at 15:30 EVE Time for a Minmatar trivia quiz stream with amazing prizes!
  • Join the community-run celebrations in Pator and Bosboger starting at 17:30 EVE Time on Saturday July 10th.

  • New content is localized into French, German, Japanese, Korean and Russian.
  • In-game text for the Minmatar Liberation Day event will be partially localized - full localization for this event will be available in the next release.

Miscellaneous:

  • Added an interface to present personalized game activity opportunities for new players, allowing them to track progress using the info panel.

Developer Comment:

We are also trying out a new feature flagging system so to start with this interface will only be available to a subset of newly created characters.

Enter the Portal is now live on Tranquility!

Developer Comment:

Thanks everyone for the energized discussion about the Enter the Portal update. Based on your feedback from the testing on the Singularity Test Server, we increased the cargo capacity and max targeting range for all Black Ops ships. The number of ships eligible to jump using the conduit jump also increased to 30.

All Black Ops battleships now have the ability to 'Conduit Jump' when fitted with a Covert Jump Portal Generator.

  • Conduit Jumps provide a new group jump to a destination from the Anchor Ship (the Black Ops battleship) plus all nearby eligible fleet members in a single, instantaneous event.
  • Eligible ships are any that are capable of travelling through a covert jump portal. Black Ops Battleship, Blockade Runners, Covert Ops Frigates, Force Recon Ships, Stealth Bombers, and Strategic Cruisers (with the covert subsystem)
  • 🤝Up to 30 eligible passenger ships may be included in the conduit jump, at a cost of 1000 isotopes per lightyear.
  • Travel via Conduit Jumps has similar requirements to normal portal travel (cannot be cloaked, warp-disrupted, or in a state of transition such as exploding etc.). Additionally, further restrictions apply for conduit jumps for passengers:
    • Passenger Ship must be in same fleet as Anchor Ship.
    • Passenger Ship must be within 10 km of Anchor Ship.
  • If the Anchor Ship fails any of the required checks, the Group Jump cannot be activated at all. If a Passenger Ship fails any of the required checks, the Group Jump will proceed, but that individual Passenger Ship will be left behind.

Modules:

  • Increased the number of chained targets from 5 to 10 for all Vorton Projectors.

Ships:

Black Ops:

Made the following updates to all Black Ops battleships:

  • 🤝Increased the cargo capacity by 100m3.
  • 🤝Increased maximum target range by 30%.
  • New Role Bonus: 50% reduction in Covert Cynosural Generator duration
  • New Role Bonus: 650% bonus to ships maximum velocity when using a Cloaking Device (this was previously a Black Ops ship bonus and has been moved into a role bonus).
  • Increased role bonus to 75% for reduction to effective distance traveled for jump fatigue.

Redeemer

  • Increased the Capacitor Capacity from 5312 to 5912 GJ
  • Updated Amarr Battleship bonuses (per skill level):
    • Increased the bonus to Large Energy Turret rate of fire from 5% to 10%.
  • Updated Black Ops bonuses (per skill level):
    • Added: 10% bonus to Energy Nosferatu and Energy Neutralizer drain amount.
    • Removed: 125% bonus to ship max velocity when using Cloaking Devices.

Sin

  • Increased the Ship Inertia modifier by 25%.
  • Updated Gallente Battleship bonuses (per skill level):
    • Increased the bonus to Large Hybrid Turret damage from 5% to 10%.
  • Updated Black Ops bonuses (per skill level):
    • Added: 10% bonus to logistics drone transfer amount.
    • Added: 7.5% bonus to drone tracking and optimal range per level.
    • Removed: 5% bonus to ship inertia modifier
    • Removed: 125% bonus to ship max velocity when using Cloaking Devices

Panther

  • Increased the ship Max Velocity by 25%.
  • Updated Minmatar Battleship bonuses (per skill level):
    • Incrased the bonus to Large Projectile Turret damage from 5% to 10%.
  • Updated Black Ops bonuses (per skill level):
    • Added: 7.5% bonus to Large Projectile Turret tracking speed
    • Added: 7.5% bonus to Large Projectile Turret falloff range.
    • Removed: 5% bonus to ship max velocity
    • Removed: 125% bonus to ship max velocity when using cloaking devices

Widow

  • Updated Caldari Battleship bonuses (per skill level):
    • Increased the bonus to Rapid Heavy Missile, Cruise Missile and Torpedo Launcher rate of fire from 5% to 7.5%.
  • Updated Black Ops bonuses (per skill level):
    • Increased the bonus to ECM Target Jammer strength from 30% to 40%.
    • Added: 4% bonus to shield resistances
    • Removed: 125% bonus to ship max velocity when using cloaking devices

Marshal

  • Updated Gallente Battleship bonuses (per skill level):
    • Increased the bonus to Large Hybrid Turret damage from 5% to 10%.
  • Updated Minmatar Battleship bonuses (per skill level):
    • Increased the bonus to Large Projectile Turret rate of fire from 5% to 10% .
  • Updated Caldari Battleship bonuses (per skill level):
    • Increased the bonus to Heavy Missile, Cruise Missile and Torpedo Launcher rate of fire from 5% to 7.5%.
  • Updated Amarr Battleship bonuses (per skill level):
    • Increased the bonus to Large Energy Turret damage from 5% to 10%.

Covert Ops:

Helios

  • Added 1 High Slot (current total: 3)
  • Updated Gallente Frigate bonuses (per skill level):
    • Changed the 5% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret damage to -15% capacitor need to initiate warp per level.
    • Changed the 10% bonus to Scout Drone thermal damage to 5% bonus to cloaked velocity per level

Anathema

  • Added 1 Low Slot (current total: 4)
  • Updated Amarr Frigate bonuses (per skill level):
    • Changed the 5% bonus to Rocket damage to -15% capacitor need to initiate warp per level
    • Changed the 5% reduction in capacitor recharge time to 5% bonus to scan deviation per level

Buzzard

  • Added 1 Low Slot (current total: 3)
  • Updated Caldari Frigate bonuses (per skill level):
    • Changed the 5% bonus to kinetic Light Missile and Rocket damage to -15% capacitor need to initiate warp per level
    • Changed the 5% bonus to Light Missile and Rocket Launcher rate of fire to 5% bonus to scan deviation per level

Cheetah

  • Added 1 Low Slot (current total: 4)
  • Updated Minmatar Frigate bonuses (per skill level):
    • Changed the 5% bonus to Small Projectile Turret damage to -15% capacitor need to initiate warp per level
    • Changed the 10% bonus to Small Projectile Turret optimal range to 5% bonus to cloaked velocity per level

  • The Gallente Federation Day event has begun! This is the 238th Federation Day, an annual celebration of the founding of the Federated Union of Gallente Prime. The festivities across Federation space will run until downtime on June 22nd.
    • Daily Login Gifts are available to all capsuleers including skillpoints, skins, Gallente Federation apparel, and a special 4-day Gallente Federation Day Expert System
    • A special warp velocity bonus will apply to all capsuleers travelling within the Gallente Federation regions.
    • The Federation Navy parades have returned and can be found within the Luminaire, Villore, Dodixie, Lirsautton, Alentene, Orvolle, and Octanneve systems. Capsuleers can receive skill points for completing daily challenges to visit these parades and launch fireworks alongside the other revelers.
    • Federal Mining Expedition sites have returned and can be found within the Marele, Goins, Crux, and Lolbrerie constellations for the duration of this event
    • To celebrate Federation Day, new Strategic Materiel Defender SKINs for the Maulus, Algos, and Myrmidon have been added to the Federal Strategic Materiel loyalty point store
    • New Gallente landmark sites can be found within the Iyen-Oursta, Mannar, and Reschard systems.
    • A themed abyssal proving ground will be running from June 18 to 22, featuring a 2v2v2 Gallente Cruisers and Assault Frigates team free-for-all format.
    • Join the community-run celebrations in Luminaire starting at 18:00 UTC on Sunday June 20.
  • Stay tuned for opportunities to show your Gallente pride through creative propaganda and trivia prowess later in the week!

Audio:

  • Modified the atmospheric audio in the Jita 4-4 Hangar interior scene.

Gameplay:

  • Players are now able to apply more than one Daily Alpha Injector without a server restart (24 hour timer).
  • Corporations can now join Faction Warfare without a server restart (24 hour timer).

Events:

  • The Daily Democracy event is now live and will run until 11:00 UTC on June 15. Citizens of New Eden can cast their vote in the democratic player elections for the 16th Council of Stellar Management!
    • To celebrate this important moment in EVE Online yearly cycle, all players can claim free gifts from Skill Points to unique ships and Filaments as part of the event.
    • All accounts older than 60 days with an Omega clone status are eligible to vote in the player elections and actively participate in the selection process of the council that will be collaborating with CCP in the ongoing development of EVE Online.

Modules:

  • All cloaking device modules now grant the ship a temporary buff, "Cloak stablization". This temporary buff will prevent being decloaked from the new mobile observatories introduced in this update.
  • The duration of the buff is 15 minutes, and can be re-applied to the full duration again by simply activating your cloak module again.

Developer Comment:

We are setting the new hardened cloak buff with a 15 minute duration to start, but in the future we have the option of adding even more time to specific cloaks or even certain ship classes if needed.

Science & Industry:

  • Added new Mobile Observatory Blueprint
    • These Blueprints can be found across Pirate NPC stations across null security space.
  • Cost: 140,000,000 ISK
  • Time per run: 3 hours, 20 minutes

Universe:

  • Four new stargate connections have been built by the four empires of New Eden.
    • Hykkota (The Forge) ↔ Ahbazon (Genesis)
    • Irgrus (Metropolis) ↔ Pakhshi (Genesis)
    • Kenninck (Placid) ↔ Eggheron (Solitude)
    • Saminer (Tash-Murkon) ↔ F7-ICZ (Stain)
  • New monuments have been placed beside each of the new gates listing the names of the Capsuleers and Capsuleer corporations that contributed the most to the empire mining expedition sites that helped collect resources for these new stargates.
  • Added descriptions to Mannar and Leremblompes systems. Notable celestials in these systems have been given custom names.

User Interface:

  • 🤝 Added a filter in the Fleet Composition window so you can filter on any of the text and added group summary to the Fleet Summary page.
  • 🤝 The "Exterior View Disabled" UI message will fade out entirely after 20 seconds when first enabled.
  • Added EVE Academy tutorial videos to the help section in the Agency

  • Fixed texture symmetry issue with Victorieux Luxury Yacht and Opux Luxury Yacht.
  • Fixed an issue where EDENCOM Stockpile Tenshu structure and AEGIS Security Garrison structure icons were missing.
  • Fixed an issue with light intersecting Jita Trade Hub geometry on medium shader settings.
  • Fixed an issue which caused the Wyvern base color to appear incorrectly white.
  • Fixed an issue which caused acceleration gate perimeters to display incorrectly.

User Interface:

  • Fixed an issue with the Pointer Window where UI Elements with long names will have an overflow issue when pointing to them.
  • Fixed an issue where the Activity Tracker's Info Panel would disappear when tracking or untracking nodes.
  • Fixed an issue when applying to a fleet when in a Corporation, the word 'Corporation' in fleet up request message is duplicated.
  • Fixed an issue that caused fullscreen windows Docked to left or right to not resize correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where the video progress bar did not stop when a video was paused in the Help Section of the Agency.
  • Gallente President NPC corp description updated to reflect current officeholder.
  • Updated shuttles that were missing nullification information on traits tabs.
