Punisher

The Punisher is considered by many to be one of the most practical and effective of all Amarr frigates. As evidenced by its heavy armaments, the Punisher is mainly intended for large-scale military operations, acting in coordination with larger military vessels. With its damage output, it is also perfectly capable of punching its way right through unwary opponents.
As the more defensive option of the Amarr Empire’s combat Tech I frigates, the Punisher provides bonuses to both Laser Weaponry and its own armor’s base damage resistances. As such, while it may not deal the most damage on its own, it is ideal for activities requiring endurance – such as level 1 Security Missions, or flying in gangs with other frigates.
While it may not give its pilot as many bonuses to weapon functionality as its counterpart, the Tormentor, the Punisher's 4 turret slots - alongside the fact that its bonus to Lasers only applies to their activation cost, means that any kind of turret may be effectively utilized by the hull, in the right situation. Blasters or even Autocannons may be seen in use on this frigate on occasion.
