Winter Nexus is Here!

The Volatile Ice Storms are here, and now is the time to tackle them and the challenges they hold!

Until 12 January, you can enter the storms, take on seasonal activities, and hunt Yoiul LADs (Logistical Automated Deliveries) to unlock greater challenges and loot within the sites.

Storms are rife with challenges for fighters, hackers, and miners, each with fresh ways to advance the seasonal track and earn big rewards, including the new Perseverance ice-mining destroyer.

Yoiul LAD Hunt

Yoiul LADs, automated InterBus ships named after the Yoiul Clones, are roaming Volatile Ice Storms all across known space, and a whistleblower within EverMore claims they’re not as harmless as advertised.

Destroying them carries the possibility of dropping Cryo Tech, which unlocks greater challenges and rewards for every playstyle: tougher combat sites for fighters, extra relays for explorers to hack, and richer salvage crates for miners. Certain Cryo Tech also has the effect of allowing marauders to access combat sites in highsec, which is otherwise off limits to them.

Be sure to add InterBus Yoiul LADs to the list of entities visible in your overview!

Rewards, Gifts & a Growing Storm

The seasonal reward track is packed with Aurora Universalis SKINs, PLEX, Skill Points, and other storm-themed items.

Progress through the track and claim the Perseverance, a new ice-mining variant of the Pioneer mining destroyer introduced in the Catalyst expansion. This vessel is currently only available by completing Winter Nexus challenges.

During the final week, the track extends further, with an extra set of rewards unlocking in the final push.

Daily login rewards add even more SP, SKINs, SKINR components, and event goods.

Paragon Hub Discounts

Throughout Winter Nexus, creating SKINs in the Paragon Hub will be cheaper and faster: sequencing costs will be discounted 50% and sequencing time will be reduced by 90%. That makes this the perfect moment to take your customization efforts to the next level.
